Tuchlinski

One kilometer on the north of Skomack Wielki village are placed ruins of old farm Grunthal, left after the second world war. Near these ruins is a small hill with forgotten cementary of family Tuchlinski. There are placed more than 10 graves hidden in bushes. I found this place during my trip 11 March 2000.

The name Tuchlinski is typical Polish name. With this name are linked geographical names. One village near Orzysz (Germ. Arys) has name Tuchlin and there is the lake Tuchlinskie. Before the second world war there were in the church in Okartowo village (Germ. Ekertsberg) two candlesticks made of tin with Polish dedication and the signatures of the foundator "Paweł Bartczyk Tuchliński".
